Robinson moves from 888.com to PartyGaming

This year is seeing a lot of movement at the top of one of the FTSE’s top UK online gaming companies…

John O’Malia, the MD, stepped down from the Board of PartyGaming Plc. in February of this year, his role as MD being taken on by Jim Ryan, the group’s Chief Executive.  Then last week European MD of Centrebet, Chris Welch, came on board to replace Jon Salmon, (who only joined PartyGaming 11 months ago from Ads Dot Com where he was MD), as Head of Marketing.

Now, the new Head of PartyGaming’s Marketing Ops in London has been announced as the former VP of Brand Marketing from 888.com - Matt Robinson, who will report in to Gibraltar based Welch.  Robinson was responsible for launching the 888.com brand in the UK and then his remit expanded to global branding, global offline acquisition, sponsorships and advertiser funded programming.

PartyGaming have made no formal announcement of the appointment as of yet.
