Track and Fieldmouse is a 3 reel UK pub fruity style online pokie which is different to almost any other slot that we have come across.  However, different doesn't always mean better and whilst it's great to see another pub fruity themed pokie on the market, the game ultimately fails to hit the entertainment levels that you would associate with this style of online slot.  Ok but not quite to the levels we were hoping for.

Having spent a few hours playing this online pokie and making the review video for the site, we are all still a little confused as to exactly what the Track and Fieldmouse online slot is all about.  It certainly fits into the UK 'pub fruity' group of slot machines as it has the typical 'Nudge' and 'Hold' buttons you would associate with this style of pokie.  However, the bonus game (that is triggered by landing any 3 identical symbols) seems a little pointless.  It's almost as if Microgaming, the software company behind the game have attempted to make an online pokie that fits into two separate camps (the UK Pub Fruity and the 3 Reel Slot camps).  Whilst we applaud them for being innovative and producing something new, in our opinion the game ultimately fails to satsify either group of player.

Of particular annoyance was the nudge feature which seemed to be of little use, with far too many nudges coming in and amounting to nothing, resulting in a rather routine disruption of the game with little to no opportunity for any skill input from the player.   On the positive side, the graphics in Track and Fieldmouse slot look very good, and you could almost imagine yourself sitting in front of a real UK style fruit machine.

Overall we were hoping for something a little closer to the Treasure Ireland online pokie, one of our favourite UK style online pub fruities.  Maybe it's just that we know what we like at the OnlinePokiesClub, and come from the school of 'if it ain't broke then don't fix it'.  Ultimately this game is targeted towards those who traditionally have played basic 3 reel slots but are looking for a little bit extra in terms of excitement.  Different it is, and if you are new to UK style pub fruities, then this game could prove to be the stepping stone into this category of game.
