If you are a fan of traditional UK style Pub Fruity's then this game will be of interest to you. However, overall we were left somewhat disappointed with this online slot.  Measured against the competition in this market it falls somewhat short.

Pub Fruity is a 3 reel online pokie which will be familiar to anyone who has played pokies in a UK pub.  It has a bonus chain which you move around depending on the numbers that you land on the reels.  The game has the traditional 'Held' buttons which enables you to hold an individual reel, and like all UK based fruit machines it has a 'Nudge' feature that allows you to nudge individual reels to bring in wins.

We are huge fans of UK style online fruit machines at the OnlinePokiesClub, and believe they deserve to be played by a bigger audience than those based in the UK or by UK ex-pats.  However, we have really struggled to find much positive with this game.  The graphics are poor, particularly with the colour and design of the bonus chain.  We would have expected better in this area from a software manufacturer as experienced as Microgaming.  We also found the 'Nudge' feature to be pretty predictable and added no real value to the game.

Pub Fruity has a bonus game which is triggered by accumulating 3 darts symbols.  Once in the game you enter a virtual dart competition whereby you compete with two other players.  The bonuses look pretty impressive (x50 original bet for coming third, x100 for second and x1000 for finishing first), but we found the game was below average, and became rather boring after the first attempt.

Overall, the Pub Fruity slot fails to deliver.  Game play is the name of the game with this style of slot, and unforgivably it's missing here.  There are far better UK style fruit machine slots currently out there.  By all means give Pub Fruity a go, but we reckon Treasure Ireland and Curry in a Hurry are heads and shoulders above this one.  Microgaming, we really do expect better.
