MySlot

The concept behind MySlot is certainly innovative.  However, great ideas don't always turn out to be great in practice and we believe the MySlot concept is fundamentally flawed.

Before launching into our view on MySlot we should first explain exactly what MySlot is.  MySlot is a fully customisable slot.  In other words you have the ability to create your own symbols and   background music.  The MySlot interface makes it very easy to upload your own photos and then use them as symbols within the game.  It's a fairly simple process and is explained fully in our MySlot review video below.

We certainly take our hats off to the team at Microgaming that came up with this concept.  We are all for innovation and new ideas.  However, we believe that the MySlot concept is fundamentally flawed.  We can't see why players would want to upload their own family photographs to use as symbols on a slot machine.  Nice idea but not something that we think players would really want to do.

Ultimately software manufacturers that produce online slot machines need to think what their customers (i.e. the players) actually want.  I'm sure that if they sat down with a selected sample of them in focus groups the last thing that they would come up with is a MySlot style machine.  Nice idea on paper, but one that should have been left in the board room.
