So what did we make of the Age of Discover online slot?

We found the Age of Discovery slot to be pretty dull, and haven't really got many positive things to day about it.  We found the speed at which the reels spin to be remarkably slow a factor which drives us mad at the best of times.  Little thought appears to have been put into the design of the game by the software developers Microgaming.  Symbols include a mango and a banana against the backdrop of a theme called the 'Age of Discovery'.  It looks like the creative team were all on holiday and they left it to the accountants to come up with the creative input for this game.  Microgaming, we really do expect better from you.

On the playing side, there is a bonus game which is actually fairly good, our only complaint being that we found it pretty tough to trigger.  This was more than compensated by the ability to trigger a lot of smaller wins via Substitute (wild) symbols.

Ultimately the Age of Discovery slot is an ill conceived game that offers nothing new to the player. Simply forgettable.
