The first thing we noticed when we started playing the Mardi Gras Fever online slot was the rather dark look and feel to the game (see the screen shot images below).  Nevertheless, this slot is actually rather well presented and carries this theme off very well.  In particular, the smooth jazzy background music that accompanies the game is a great feature and really adds to the overall playing experience.

The slot itself has most of the bells and whistles you would associate with most 5 reel slots.  It's primary bonus game aptly named the Mardi Gras Bonus just about does enough to maintain a players interest and is triggered by landing 3 or more Bourbon Street symbols.  There is also a free spins feature that offers 5 free spins at a rather attractive 10 multiplier.

Overall, the rather atmospheric atmosphere created by the Mardis Gras theme does enough to make this an attractive alternative to a lot of the rather mundane slots out there.  A definite thumbs up from us.
