Hiccup for Frank’s HR2267 Bill

Barney Frank has been spearheading the call to legalise and regulate the online gaming industry in the U.S.  The two bills that he recently introduced were the H.R. 2267 - the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act of 2009 and the H.R. 2266 - the Reasonable Prudence in Regulation Act.

Unfortunately though, there seems to have been a delay put on the HR 2267 Bill till the end of the Summer, when Congress returns from the Summer break.  The Committee wants to turn its attention to helping to resuscitate and feed the economy for the moment.
