After the recent launch of it’s fixed odds management service to clients including the ACT TAB and Tote Tasmania Centrebet looks to be in a good position to strengthen its position in the Australian Fixed Odds Betting (FOB) market.
The contracts are reputed to be worth over AU$1m profit a year, and with FOB’s considered one of the fastest growing markets in the Australian gambling market, Centrebet appear to have stolen a lead on their rivals, who include Inspired Gaming, Global Draw and Cyberview.
FOB’s were first introduced to UK betting shops in 2002 and have been claimed to over the years to have saved many shops from closing their doors.
