Bally developments keep them at top

Bally Technologies Inc., the global gaming industry leaders in slots and video machines and also in casino-management systems, have recently announced some new initiatives and developments which show they are unphased by the global downturn affecting most international industries.

Bally Technologies Inc. are  once again pushing the boundaries of development with the expansion of their stepper and video slots games to support their ALPHA Elite™ V32 cabinet.  New to the market will be the “Playboy Platinum” and three new Power Progressive PlatinumTM video slot games; “Double Wild Rose”, “White Gold” and “Rich and Famous”.

Bally Technologies are also keeping up their relationships with the Australian gaming industry by signing a non-exclusive agreement with the long-established Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd.  Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd. are to provide Class III video slot content for Bally’s game cabinets in North America which will enhance and strengthen Bally’s video-slot portfolio.  Bally Technologies Inc. will incorpoprate Ainsworth’s succesful slots titles in their ALPHA Elite V20 and V32 game cabinets and will be responsible for the sales, servicing, marketing, support and regulatory approvals .  The launch of these new slots should be some time in late Autumn of this year.

Bally’s Chief Operating Officer Gavin Isaacs says of the move:

“We’re excited to add Ainsworth content to our own video slot portfolio, which continues to expand and drive greater performance for our customers.  Ainsworth’s games are consistently among the top-performing games in Australia, which is primarily a repeat-player video market like most of the Native American and riverboat markets in North America”.

Although Bally sucessfully ported third-party game content for the Class III lottery and Class II market, this is the first time that Bally has used game content from a different manufacturer on its traditional Class III market cabinets.  For more indepth information about the history of these two America and Australia gaming industry giants  take a look at this history of  slots page.
