Australian Intabill Inc. staring court action in the face

Couriermail.com.au has just reported that Australian Payment processing company Intabill Inc. is being sued by Kolyma Corporation AVV for payments that it claims were not passed on.  Intabill is the brainchild of 25 year-old Daniel Tzvetkoff and 38 year-old Sam Sciacca which is based out of Brisbane, registered in the tax haven British Virign Islands.

Kolyma is the corporation behind Full Tilt Poker (already in the US headlines in connection with the FBI’s seizure of bank accounts of various payment processing companies).  Kolyma, based in Aruba in the southern Caribbean, lodged the action against Intabill Inc and the Australian-registered holding company BT Projects in the Brisbane Supreme Court on 25 May.  They are seeking  the payment of money allegedly owed to them to the tune of $US43 million, which is around $A52.75 million, plus interest.

This will only add to the “annus horriblus” for Intabill Inc., who were already forced to make cut backs, due to the economic climate, this year.  In April they cut staffing levels from 96 employees to about 20 and in May, they were forced to withdraw their sponsorship fo the Team IntaRacing V8 Supercar team.
